Roman Shades

Romans Shades are a fabric shade that folds from the bottom to the top of the window. They have been a staple in the industry. Like Draperies, they add a level of comfort to a room in the same way that linen, cotton, or any blend of fabrics can add a level of softness to your window. Roman shades can come in a variety of different styles, operations, and cord placements including valances.

Schedule a call with our team and we will take into account your style and consult based on your design style.

Draperies

Draperies are a way to add coziness to any room. It also adds a feeling of glamor to your Dining room or formal Living room. For your Bedroom or Theater, draperies are probably the best way to achieve a light-blocking treatment.

Some might think that draperies are kind of a classic treatment, but like roman shades, it all depends on the choice of fabric and styling. There are multiple styles of draperies from standard pleated draperies to RippleFold draperies. Draperies are not meant for all rooms.

Our team can guide you with your decision and have an honest conversation about the pluses and minuses of Draperies in your home/room.

Roller Shades

Roller shades are some of the most affordable treatments and are considered minimalist or contemporary in design. Roller shades are a Utilitarian treatment. Even with the addition of “fabric-like” roller shade fabrics, they are not used to “dress up” your window like a drapery or roman shade may add to your room.

Roller shades are to give you room darkening, privacy, or sun control when you need it. Normally there is a pocket, fascia, or custom fascia to house the roller shade so you do not see it when the shade is open.

Schedule a call with our team to find out more about roller shades.

Automation

Automation is the future of window treatments. The ease of pressing a button, or going to your phone to operate your window shades is appealing to more and more homeowners. In some ways, automation helps prolong the life of the window treatment. This is why hotels are switching to automation and rental properties are also going in this direction.

Like all window treatments, automation may not be right for your situation. Our team can guide you on what treatment you would need and why you would want it motorized in your room.

Lighting

We started as a window shade company, however, over the years I have had more and more customers asking us to handle the inside and outside light control. We have partnered with Lutron to achieve a complete system that can be tailor-fitted to your lifestyle and control the light coming into your home and inside your home.

Our team can update your current home, or we can help you with your new build. From the smallest condos to your multi-million dollar estates, we have the Lutron system that will satisfy your needs.

Exterior Roller Shades

Custom roller shades that are specially made to help deal with the elements outside your home. The metal materials are powder-coated, the menbar is stronger and heavier than a standard hembar, the motor is made for exterior use, and there are side channels or cable guides to prevent the shade from blowing around.

Why would you need this style of shade? Sometimes customers love the interior look of their home without the windows having treatments on the inside, but they still want sun protection. Putting a shade on the exterior keeps the interior space clean from boxes of valences. Also, some pergolas and exterior patio areas can benefit from an exterior screen. If you have a large open sliding glass door, you can use the exterior screen as a bug screen. There are actual bug screen fabrics available for these applications. They allow a breeze to come through better than the standard sunscreen fabric.

2” Blinds

2” Blinds are a price competitive and a great alternative to the 1” vinyl blinds that look generic. They can be metal, faux wood, and wood and the color range is endless. Blinds can also be automated, but based on the system you get the motor may operate the shade all the way open and close, or may just turn the 2” louvers.

Work with our team and find the best window treatment to suit your needs.

Awnings

Awnings are a good way to shade a patio area without building a pergola. Maybe you want the sun on your patio in the winter, but in the summer you can extend it out to shade the patio. When you are done, the cover can be retracted to have an unobstructed view of the stars at night.

There are plenty of fabrics and colors available to choose from to compliment your style/home. Schedule a call with our theme to find the best awning for your home.

Service

We started offering the opportunity for us to come out and assess issues with window treatments that were not made by us. This was a change to our policy of “servicing only treatments we supplied”, because of the requests by our designers. They wanted someone they could trust to service their clients. Since we implemented this policy, we have grown to assist countless others with issues they have been having with their manual and automated window treatments.
